On Friday, our Kindness Crew and Spirit Squad, alongside Pat the Polar Bear, spearheaded a fantastic school assembly centered on standing up for oneself and others, trusting adults, and reporting hurtful behavior. Rooted in our Core Values—Be Kind, Be Smart, Be Respectful, and Be Hard Working—the presentation featured student poetry, reporting procedures, and actionable steps aimed at fostering belonging across Lincoln Street School.

The influence of student leadership remains truly extraordinary; the Kindness Crew's passion resonated deeply with their peers. To close out the event, the 43-member Spirit Squad delivered an energetic performance complete with cheering and shaking pom-poms. This inspiring display from our second and third graders highlighted the vibrant, diverse talents of our student body and left the whole school energized.

Updates and Reminders

Nurse's Notes and Wellness Information

  • Parents and caregivers have been notified of any vision or hearing concerns. If you have not received a letter in your student's backpack or a ParentSquare notification, your student successfully passed their screening.
  • Strep throat has arrived at Lincoln Street School. The custodians will deep clean the first grade where we are seeing a ramp up in cases. Please encourage your students to wash hands frequently at school especially before eating. Consider a strep culture with your pediatrician or urgent care if your child has a fever combined with a sore throat or belly ache.
  • 3rd grade parents: As your children get their physical exams done this school year, please send them my way. They need a physical filed with the school prior to starting 4th grade per state mandate. Forward to mfiore@nsboro.k12.ma.us.    Thank you!!! -Meghan Fiore
