Dear Grade 3, 4, and 5 Families,
A former LSS student, Jasmine Palit, has organized another wonderful opportunity for our young female scientists.
The Mass Academy Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Chapter is hosting an event at LSS on Wednesday (10/14) and Thursday (10/15) after school from 3:30-4:30. They will be using robot kits to teach block coding to the students. There is no cost and no prior experience is required, so we would love for some young female engineers to join us.

Unfortunately, this event has a maximum of 15 students per session, so sign up right away if you are interested. You will be notified if you got in. These sessions are independent, so your student should only go to one session.
SWE aims to promote STEM education for girls and women. Girls in grades 3-5 are welcome to sign up! Sign-ups are first-come, first serve. Please sign up here!
Best,
Mrs. Callaghan
