The Polar Express
As we close another wonderful school year at Lincoln Street School, I want to wish all of our families a relaxing summer filled with joy, curiosity, and wonder. I hope the months ahead bring time for rest, adventure, laughter, and meaningful moments with those you love.

Thank you for your incredible support and partnership throughout the year. From volunteering as Mystery Readers to helping with Tech Field Day, your generosity and commitment to our school community have been extraordinary. Your volunteerism is truly second to none. We are also so grateful for the thoughtful gestures, both big and small—the tissue and water donations, the surprise bouquets of flowers for the front office, and even the box of donuts that everyone appreciated during those busy final days of June. Your kindness and support mean so much.

I feel incredibly lucky and proud to serve as the principal of Lincoln Street School. It is a privilege to work alongside such dedicated staff, wonderful students, and supportive families.

To our Grade 5 families: as your children prepare for middle school, know that they are ready. The tools have been sharpened and carefully placed in their toolbox. They leave Lincoln Street with the skills, confidence, and character needed for this next chapter. Continue to encourage them to grow, keep learning, and remain open to new opportunities and adventures.
Have a safe, happy, and restful summer. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the fall.

Reminders/Updates:
  • If you are leaving early for vacation, your child's report card and/or progress report will be mailed.
  • School Supply Lists are on our website under "Family Resources"
  • Class Placement Letters will be sent on August 19.

GRADE 3 Families:
Please send this year's physical exam documentation for your student to mfiore@nsboro.k12.ma.us. The "School and Camp forms" in MyChart are perfect. Physicals are mandatory prior to starting 4th grade. If your child is scheduled for a summer exam please send last summer's exam or provide the date scheduled.
The students are enjoying lots of outdoor activities for the end of the school year. Please be advised that it's tick season and we've been seeing some in the health office. Consider tick checks in the evening particularly on P.E. days to prevent tick borne illnesses.
Thank you!

THANK YOU from the Lincoln Street Community
Best wishes to our retirees—Mr. Olson, Mrs. Caldicott, and Mrs. Woods. Your years of dedication, care, and commitment to our students and school community have made a lasting impact. There is no question that this next chapter is well deserved, and we wish you happiness, relaxation, and joy in retirement.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to Mrs. Bianchi for her incredible work in our Therapeutic Program. Over the past 10 years, she has helped build the vision, structure, and support systems that have been foundational to the program’s success. As she begins her new role at the Finn School, we thank her for all she has contributed to Lincoln Street School. She will be greatly missed, and we wish her all the best in this next chapter.
