The Polar Express
Dear LSS Families, I would sum up this past week as a true "Journey of Joy." From squid dissections and classroom learning experiences to Field Day and everything in between, I am reminded each day of the positive impact Lincoln Street School has on our students, staff, and families. It is a privilege and a joy to partner with such a caring and supportive community of learners.
A special thank you to Trish Rollins, Lauren Fortier, the LSS PTO, and all of our parent and family volunteers for their time, energy, and dedication. Your support helped make Field Day 2026 a tremendous success. This year's Field Day was truly "Buckets of Fun!" The laughter, teamwork, enthusiasm, and school spirit on display throughout the day were wonderful reminders of what makes Lincoln Street School such a special place.
One of Lincoln Street School's most cherished traditions is the annual Senior Stroll, when former Polar Bears return to walk the halls and reconnect with the teachers who helped shape their educational journey. It is always a heartwarming celebration of growth, gratitude, and the lasting impact of our school community. This year's Senior Stroll was especially meaningful as students had the opportunity to recognize and thank three beloved educators who are retiring at the end of the school year: Mrs. Caldicott, Mr. Olson, and Mrs. Woods. Collectively, they have dedicated decades of service to Lincoln Street School and have positively influenced generations of students.
Thank you for being an important part of our school community. We look forward to celebrating many more joyful moments together as we finish the school year strong.
