The Polar Express
We are incredibly proud of our students in Grade 3–5 for the resilience, focus, and thoughtfulness they demonstrated throughout MCAS testing. Our students approached each day with determination, perseverance, and a positive mindset, showing tremendous effort and care in all that they did. The teachers and staff have been so impressed by the way students supported one another, stayed engaged, and gave their very best. Their hard work and dedication truly reflect the strength of our school community. This week our Grade 5 students will complete the Science and Technology assessment, and we will complete all make-ups. To celebrate their outstanding efforts, we look forward to recognizing all three grades with a special treat in the coming weeks!
Lastly, our students and families put the "fun" in Fun Day! Even though it rained on Saturday, we pivoted to an inside event. With the strong vision and leadership of Mrs. Erin Buffa, this annual tradition was a success! Thank you to all of the parent/caregiver and ARHS volunteers, the Grade 5 Committee, and all of the LSS PTO. A HUGE thank you to Mr. G for prepping Friday afternoon, night, and all day Saturday! It was a blast!
