CURRICULUM CORNER -
LIBRARY AND ART TOGETHER
About 30 LSS students participated in a series of cartooning workshops with graphic novelist Jonathan Todd on Thursday, April 9 at Algonquin. Mr. Todd is an Algonquin graduate, class of 1992, whose bestselling book Timid is currently part of the Northborough Children's Book Award program. The book is based loosely on his own experience as he struggled to overcome shyness as a middle schooler when he moved from South Florida to Massachusetts. The district librarians received grant funding from the two towns' Cultural Councils to sponsor his visit as part of our ongoing NSBoro Reads initiative.
