Dear Grade 3 Families,

I am pleased to share that the first session of MCAS testing went very well. Our students approached the experience with diligence, focus, and a strong sense of responsibility. We are incredibly proud of the effort they demonstrated throughout the process.

As I shared with students during our MCAS “Pep Talk” on Monday afternoon, this assessment is just one data point. It does not capture the full picture of who they are as learners. Over the course of this year, we have seen tremendous growth—not only academically, but also socially and emotionally—and that progress is something to celebrate.
