Dear LSS Families,

As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive school environment, we will be conducting Safety Drill #2 today.

Safety drills are an important way for us to practice procedures so that students and staff feel prepared and confident. Following the drill, teachers will take time to debrief with students in an age-appropriate and reassuring manner, answering questions and reinforcing that drills are simply practice to help keep everyone safe.

At the end of the day, I will also send a follow-up message sharing how the drill went and reflect on the overall process.
