The Polar Express
Based on the weather forecast, the heavy snow is coming! Please stay safe and warm especially if you are waiting for the bus or a walker! It is a reminder to families and students to make sure you pack your snow gear if you want to play in the snow at school.

We had a wonderful week of Kindness and Love at LSS before the break. Our 100 Day Parade is a wonderful tradition for our Kindergarten students. Also, the much anticipated Northborough Elementary Schools Grade 3 Stings concert was a HUGE success!

Exciting News! Our new bottle filler is up and running in the LSS Cafetorium. Thank you to our wonderful PTO for supporting this initiative. Also, thank you to Bud Richardson for overseeing the project over the February break!
Updates and reminders:
  • We had over 291 items delivered to the food pantry. Grade 5 brought in the most. Huge thanks to all. Especially the Grade 5 student council and Frances Calapai and Erin Buffa. (They brought it over to the food pantry today.)
Quote of the week: "Adversity and perseverance and all these things can shape you. They can give you a value and a self-esteem that is priceless." - Scott Hamilton, former USA Olympic figure skater

 Warmly,
  Mrs. Callaghan
