At Lincoln Street School, we are committed to supporting every student’s educational journey. We understand that “life happens” and that there are many reasons why a student may be absent, dismissed, or tardy. Our goal is to provide a nurturing environment that accommodates each family's unique circumstances while also ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.

We abide by the rules that govern school attendance, and the district practice is to communicate with families when a child exceeds 7 absences, 10 tardies, and/or 10 early dismissals in a semester. This information is just one data point among many that we consider when evaluating your child's overall progress and well-being. We understand that numbers don’t tell the whole story, and we appreciate your partnership in supporting your child’s education.
