Dear Grade 4 and 5 LSS Families,

Below is the email shared with you on January 28th regarding the rescheduled LSS Winter Concert.

From Ms. Makara and Mrs. Whalen:

The Winter Concert will be held on Thursday February 5, at 6:30 PM in the Lincoln Street cafeteria.

As always, there has been much rehearsing and practicing to make this event come together and we have one opportunity to share this musical event with you. Please take time to review the guidelines below with your child to help make this event a success.

Fifth grade students should wear the following concert dress to the evening performance:

Music Dept. T-shirt, Black Dress Pants (no jeans, shorts or skirts), Black/Dark socks and Black/Dark shoes

Fourth graders should wear school appropriate clothing of their choice. Lincoln Street gear or blue and white is encouraged but not required.

Band members are asked to arrive by 5:45 PM to tune and warm up their instruments for the concert.  The band warm-up will be on the stage.

Fifth grade chorus members who are not in the band will need to arrive at 6:00 PM.  Fifth grade chorus will warm-up in Mr. Olson’s room.

Fourth grade recorder players should arrive with their recorders and guests and be seated in the audience until they are called to the stage for the performance.

We kindly remind everyone that this is a wonderful time to celebrate the growth and progress of our performers. This night is a chance to highlight our talented and dedicated students who have practiced for months in preparation for this concert. Please be a respectful and courteous audience. Enjoy the performance!

Thank you,

Mrs. Callaghan
