The Polar Express
As we begin this new year together, I would like to extend my warmest wishes to each of our students, families, and staff. A new year brings fresh beginnings, renewed energy, and endless opportunities for growth, learning, and connection.
We are excited to welcome everyone back and continue the important work of nurturing our students’ curiosity, confidence, and kindness. Specifically, we welcome Mrs. Walsh (Mr. Carey), Mr. Flynn (Mr. Olson) and Mrs. Carol Chione (Mrs. Persons) to the LSS staff. Together, we will build on the successes of the past year and look ahead with optimism and purpose.
Thank you for your continued partnership, trust, and support. It truly takes a community, and we are grateful to walk this journey with such dedicated families.
Wishing you and your loved ones a year filled with good health, happiness, and many moments of joy.
Updates and reminders:

Title One Program - a letter was sent to some Grade 1 and 2 families whose child met the requirements for the state funded program. Please check your email to see if your child is invited to join the program.
Thanks to all of your generous donations during our annual Fun Run, our new water bottle filler will be installed over February Break.
Quote of the week:
“We spend January 1st walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives...not looking for flaws, but for potential.”
