Dear LSS Families,

I am writing to share that Mr. Olson will be taking a leave of absence beginning December 16. We anticipate his return in early March. During this time, we are committed to ensuring continuity of learning and support for all students. I recognize that Mr. Olson shared with his students and families about this announcement, and I wanted to add some additional information.

We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Erin Walsh will be joining our school as Mr. Olson’s long-term substitute. Mrs. Walsh brings over 12 years of experience at the elementary level and holds multiple teaching certifications. She comes highly recommended and is excited to join our learning community. We are confident that her expertise, warmth, and professionalism will provide students with a smooth and positive transition. Additionally, she will spend some time in the classroom prior to her start date.
