The Polar Express

Congratulations to our new 2025-2026 LSS Student Council Members: Sean Casey, Vivienne Skrocki, Julia Moreira, Kelsey Fortier, Adrian Marks, and Oliver Nikopoulos. Additionally, congratulations to all of the brave fifth graders for throwing their hats in the ring. The first order of business for the LSS Student Council - Declaration of Polar Bear Pride Day - November 21. Wear your blue and white spirit gear.

The LSS Gobble Wobble Fun Run is finally here. We invite families to join us for the action and events on Friday, November 21 @ 2:00 PM. If rain is in the forecast, we will use our reverse rain date, Thursday, November 20. We will the "viewing section" well marked. Please park across the street, at MMS, or in any remaining parking spots at LSS. Thank you to the PTO for organizing such a wonderful fundraiser and student-friendly event.

  • Goods of Gratitude Food Drive organized by the Kindness Crew (November 12-November 21) There is a cart located in the lobby for families to drop off goods as well!

Culture and Belonging

November is nationally recognized as Native American Heritage Month. Within the month of November, there’s also National Native American Heritage Day recognized on the 25th.

National Native American Heritage Month celebrates the cultures, traditions and contributions of Native people, across American Indian, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian and American Samoan communities. This month raises awareness about the vibrant cultures and heritage of Native communities, uplifting the unique traditions and voices of tribes across the nation.

 LSS Gobble Wobble fun run is going to happen on Friday, November 21st!  New this year- spectator section for any guardians/families that want to watch and cheer on their students!  The Gobble Wobble will be even more fun this year with a polar bear cane to run through, fitness stations to jump and move, and lots of bubbles to run through!  If we meet our fundraising goals, Pat the Polar Bear and Gigi the penguin will race each other!
