The Polar Express

In all of my years in Northborough, this was the best Applefest Weekend...ever! Thank you to the many students and families that made our march an exciting and enthusiastic journey! Special thanks to Pat the Polar Bear for leading the charge!

Tomorrow, Monday, September 22, is PICTURE DAY! Below in the "Flyers for Families" section you will find specific ordering information provided by Coffee Pond - our new picture company.

Reminders/Updates:

  • Please remind your children to leave special treasures and stuffed animals at home. We don't want anything to happen to their trinkets in the halls of Lincoln.

Quote of the Week: "How does one keep from 'growing old inside'? Surely only in community. The only way to make friends with time is to stay friends with people": — Parker J. Palmer

Culture and Belonging

Rosh Hashanah is the celebration of the Jewish New Year. It’s an important holiday in the Jewish calendar and the first of the "High Holidays" (or High Holy Days). It begins the Days of Awe, a 10-day period of introspection and repentance that ends with Yom Kippur - the holiest day of the Jewish year.

On Rosh Hashanah, Jewish people celebrate God’s creation of the world. Rosh Hashanah is between one and two days long (varying for different Jewish denominations) and usually occurs during September or October.

An important online ordering note:  We appreciate that schools are doing everything they can to make student portrait ordering as easy as possible!  Just a reminder that the ONLY link that should be placed on your school’s website or other family communication is www.coffeepond.com.  School-specific links (those that include the school name) are not permanent links and will send parents to the incorrect page. www.coffeepond.com will send families to our main ordering page where they can select their school from a drop down menu. You can copy and paste this QR code to add to an email or PDF instead of a written link:
