Dear LSS Families,

We are so excited about the Applefest Parade tomorrow at noontime. We encourage everyone to wear their Polar Bear Gear and/or Blue and White to represent our school pride. Additionally, I am looking for a volunteer to be our school mascot, Pat the Polar Bear. It can be a former LSS student, 5th grader, middle schooler, parent, and or caregiver! I am open to ideas. Please email me directly if you can do it! Because you are walking with me in a town event, you do not need a CORI.

The Applefest Committee would like to thank you for participating in the parade this upcoming Saturday.

Staging will begin at 11 am this Saturday, September 20th.  You are to line up alongside the right side of the road facing towards Main Street. There will be cones with numbers corresponding to groups. That is where your group will meet and wait for the parade to begin. Your group number 

My takeaway - Look for the people in Blue, a Polar Bear and the #8!
