The Polar Express

Welcome to a brand-new school year at Lincoln Street School! We hope your summer was filled with joy, relaxation, and memorable moments with family and friends. As we open our doors once again, we are excited to welcome our returning families and extend a warm greeting to those who are joining our community for the first time.

This year, we look forward to continuing our shared journey of learning, growth, and belonging. Our dedicated educators have been preparing engaging lessons and meaningful experiences that will challenge, inspire, and support every student. Together, we will nurture curiosity, celebrate achievements, and build a culture where all learners feel seen, valued, and empowered.

To our families—thank you for being our partners in this important work. To our staff—thank you for your passion, commitment, and heart. With your support and collaboration, we know this will be a year of success, joy, and new opportunities for our students.

Reminders/Updates:

  • If you ordered school supplies through EPI, it will be delivered to your child's classroom before the first day of school.

  • Breakfast and Lunch is free again this year. Please see the menu listed in the Lunch Section below.

  • All About LSS - Here is a slide deck with details about procedures and protocols @ LSS.

Culture and Belonging

September is designated as National Hispanic Heritage Month, observed from September 15th to October 15th. This period recognizes the histories, cultures, and contributions of Americans with Hispanic, Latino, and Latin American roots. The date range is significant as it coincides with the independence days of several Latin American countries.
