Dear LSS Families,

It is with deep appreciation and a mix of emotions that I share the news of Mrs. Moring’s upcoming retirement. After years of unwavering dedication to our youngest learners, Mrs. Moring has made the thoughtful decision—together with her family—to retire from teaching at LSS.

Mrs. Moring has been a cornerstone of our kindergarten team and school community. Her kind heart, generous spirit, and unshakable commitment to doing what’s right have touched the lives of countless students, families, and colleagues. Whether it was offering a comforting smile, guiding a student with care, or gently reminding us of the group plan with good humor and grace, Mrs. Moring always led by quiet, powerful example.

She has dedicated her career to helping every child feel seen, safe, and valued. Her legacy will live on in the many students she’s nurtured and the staff members she’s inspired along the way. Personally, she has touched the lives of my own children and so many Lincoln Street Families.

I am currently in the hiring process for her replacement. I will share this announcement in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, please join me in wishing Mrs. Morning all the best in this next chapter—one that is so well deserved.
